• Nanotrap® Microbiome Particles enable simple, automated methods for respiratory viruses, such as influenza and SARS-CoV-2, in transport medium samples

• Nanotrap Microbiome Particles capture and concentrate whole viruses and can be used with a wide range of nucleic acid extraction kits.

• Nanotrap Particles enabled the identification of SARS-CoV-2 RNA in 9 out of 32 diagnostic remnant samples that had previously tested negative for the virus. (1)

• Increase assay sensitivity by capturing and concentrating low abundance viruses. Nanotrap particles improved real-time RT-PCR signal in low viral load diagnostic remnant samples by an average of 3.1 Ct values and sequencing coverage in low viral load diagnostic remnant samples by 20-80%. (1)(2)
