Delaware Public Health Lab’s (DPHL) wastewater surveillance testing is a predictive method to monitor disease for a more rapid public health response for the entire state of Delaware. Currently, the lab is running 35 wastewater samples per week to detect SARS-CoV-2, influenza virus A and B, mpox, and norovirus. They are planning to add Candida auris to their testing library in the near future.
